Hon. Justice Dr Henry Isabirye Kawesa, Resident Judge of Tororo High inspecting the guard of honor at the opening of the Criminal Session

Hon. Justice Dr Henry Isabirye Kawesa, Resident Judge of Tororo High Court on Wednesday October 4, 2023 held a pre-session meeting with stakeholders at Busia Chief Magistrates Court where a criminal session of 35 cases is going to be handled.

Present at the pre-session meeting were representatives from the Uganda Police Force, Office of the Director of Public Prosecution, LC V Chairperson, Uganda Prisons Services as well as Judicial Officers and members of public.

All the cases cause-listed for the month-long High Court session originate from Busia and it is one of the ways of taking services closer to the people.

The cases to be handled include; Murder, Aggravated Defilement, Aggravated Robbery among others.
